    Tuesday, Sept. 7th at 7p.m.

    Students, staff, faculty and community members are invited to participate in a poetry open mic, opening the show for Covington before his featured reading. Poets wanting to perform may contact campus event host Andrew Smith in advance of the event at asmith@tntech.edu.

    This is an in-person event, free and open to all. Masks required for entry.

  • New Associate Vice President of Human Resources

    We are excited to announce the new Associate Vice President of Human Resources, Mr. Kevin Vedder. Mr. Vedder comes to campus with over 30 years of experience in higher education including almost 30 years at Purdue University and four years at Salisbury University. In addition to his human resources experience he has 25 years of military service. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Indiana State University and Master of Science, Transformational Leadership from University of Maryland Global Campus. Please join us in welcoming Mr. Vedder to campus!

    Auditions will take place at the Backdoor Playhouse.

    Acting and Singing auditions on Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
    Callbacks on Saturday, September 11, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (as needed)
    Principle roles (both men and women) available for 8 performers (18-50). *
    You do not need to be a TTU student to audition or to be cast. Minority actors are strongly encouraged. Interested performers should prepare 16 bars of any song for their singing audition, acting auditions will consist of cold-reading and improvisation.

    Flood Relief Donations

    Omega Phi Alpha is hosting a donation drive for the residents of Dickson and Humphreys counties after the tragic flooding on August 21, 2021. We are hoping to gain the support of all students and faculty for this fundraiser. Donation boxes have been set up in the RUC, Bell Hall, and The New Fitness Center. All proceeds go directly to the residents effected.
