    Business, Government & Non-Profit Internship & Job Fair is Tuesday, Sept. 21

    Join the Center for Career Development and the College of Business for this Career Fair on Tuesday, Sept. 21, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in The Hoop. ALL Majors and ALL students (freshman to alumni) are invited to discuss career opportunities with over 20 employers!!!

    Students should make sure to bring plenty of copies of their resume!

    Students should come dressed to impress and have their Eagle Card on hand to obtain a personalized name tag. This event counts toward Career Readiness Certification!

     

    All participants will be asked to follow Campus Return to Tech Guidelines in regards to social distancing and face coverings.

    Career Fairs are a NO BACKPACK ZONE. Please leave your backpack in your car or room.

    Are you interested in Co-op? Need to find out how YOU can be Co-op eligible? Attend this Co-op Meetup on Tuesday, Sept. 14, in Clement Hall 212 at 11 a.m. Any student interested in accepting a Cooperative Education position with an employer MUST attend a Co-op Meetup.

    The Co-op Meetup will explain the eligibility guidelines for enrolling in the Cooperative Education Program, which went into effect July 1, 2019 for all students.  Pre-registration to enroll in the Co-op Program is now required and attending a Co-op Meetup is your first step!  The new eligibility guidelines can be found at: https://www.tntech.edu/career/students/coop-eligibility.php.

    Have you always wanted to be like Einstein?  He was an AAUP member! The TTU chapter of the AAUP is seeking renewals and new members for the Tech chapter of AAUP.  Please e-mail Daniel Ernst, Treasurer and Membership Chair, at dernst@tntech.edu for the current form (campus mailbox English Dept. Box 5053).  Payroll deduction forms are due this week; for payroll deduction, we must have your renewal or membership form in hand no later than Sept. 14. The first meeting of the year will be Wed. We hope you will consider joining or renewing your membership to this vital organization amid such transformative times in higher education.

    Join us on September 15 for our next CAFÉ Conversations session with the Vice President for Enrollment Management and Career Placement, Dr. Brandon Johnson. During this session, Dr. Johnson and his team will provide an overview of Enrollment Management and Career Placement and current resources and activities that promote student success. The conversation will also serve as an opportunity to engage with faculty on how they can partner with Enrollment Management and Career Placement on student success initiatives.
