    Nominate a Faculty Member for Scholar-Mentor Award

      The University established the Scholar-Mentor Award to honor TTU’s long history of close relationships between faculty and their students. The award honors a faculty member who displays outstanding mentorship, integrating scholarship, research and teaching excellence.     Fall 2021 Research 101 Workshop Series

    Register now to participate in the first session of the Research 101 Workshop Series! During this session participants will walk through the life cycle of a grant, focusing on a few key topic areas including the definition of external funding, the role of the Office of Research and the role of the Office of Grant Accounting, internal processes, and required paperwork, an overview of the roles and responsibilities in a proposal, and more!

    Undergraduate STEM Research Seminar: Dr. Mathew Pearson, University of Liverpool

    Dr. Mathew Pearson, a nuclear physicist hailing from the University of Liverpool, is visiting campus this week and will give our first Undergraduate STEM Research Seminar this semester. Dr. Pearson studies the properties of exotic nuclei using a laser to precisely measure atomic transitions that are affected by the configuration of the nucleus. His talk, Laser Spectroscopy in Nuclear Physics, will be this Friday, September 17th at 4pm in Volpe Library 248. It will be geared for undergraduates from any STEM major, but graduate students and faculty are also encouraged to attend!
