  • Help Us Teach Social Engineering and Cyber-safe Practices Better

    98% of Cyber Attacks involve some form of Social Engineering. Do you feel safe? Dr. Denis Ulybyshev and Master’s Candidate David Feier are looking to potentially hold a seminar or training in Social Engineering and Software Security. However, we need your help to know what material to cover. If you would like to help us learn more about how well Tennessee Tech students and employees know about Social Engineering and Software Security, we have a brief survey (23-30 minutes) you can complete to assist us. The results may be used to structure a course or a training seminar that will be released during Cyber Awareness Month (October). Furthermore, survey results may be used to justify the need for developing tools and methodologies for software vulnerability management in automatic and continuous mode.

    Students Voices Needed for Panel

    Today’s students increasingly face challenges to their learning, including mental pressure, financial burdens, and visible and invisible disabilities, which disrupt the traditional role of the student. What should faculty know about students in their classroom? How can we solve the common disconnect between teachers and students?

    The Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning (CITL) is seeking 5-6 students to share their thoughts with faculty during a CITL session held on Microsoft Teams Tuesday, October 4 from 11:00-11:45am.     Annual Enrollment for 2023 benefits starts soon! Beginning in September, Benefits Administration will email information to eligible employees. Annual Enrollment information will be posted on the ParTNers for Health website by Sept. 1, 2022, under the Annual Enrollment tab.

    The 2023 Annual Enrollment newsletter will be available as a digital version and also a PDF.
