Counseling Center Director Earns ADHD Clinical Services Provider Certification
Christina Mick, TN Tech Counseling Center Director, recently completed the requirements and received certification as an ADHD Clinical Services Provider. In addition to Dr. Mick’s clinical and professional counseling licensure, this certification allows her to teach strategies that will assist students in addressing executive functioning struggles. Through the certification process, Dr. Mick received an additional 30 hours of training beyond her clinical license and has completed 200 hours of clinical contact with ADHD diagnosed clients while under clinical supervision/consultation. The Office of Human Resources is exited to announce that as of July 1, 2023, eligible TTU faculty and staff are entitled to six (6) weeks of Paid Parental Leave within the first twelve (12) months following childbirth or adoption. The Paid Parental Leave Policy supports the University’s work-life balance efforts to support employees during one of the most important phase of their lives.
