    General Complaint Reporting

    In addition to the Fraud, Waste, or Abuse reporting form, Tennessee Tech also has a form on Internal Audit’s website for confidentially reporting complaints about accounting, internal control, auditing matters, code of conduct, discrimination/harassment/retaliation, and other issues that are NOT fraud, waste, or abuse. Complainants remain COMPLETELY ANONYMOUS to Internal Audit unless the last section of the form is completed. General complaints received on this form are routed to appropriate campus departments for follow-up.

    The form can be submitted online or completed, printed, and mailed to Internal Audit, PO Box 5154, Cookeville, TN 38505.

  • ACS Student Chapter Featured in Chemical and Engineering News

    ACS Student Chapter Featured in Chemical and Engineering News

    The Tennessee Tech chapter of the Student Members of the American Chemical Society (SMACS) was recently featured in an edition of Chemical & Engineering News (C&EN), which is a weekly news magazine published by the American Chemical Society that provides professional and technical news in the field of chemistry and chemical engineering. The SMACS chapter was highlighted for their work with the Nashville ACS Local Section for celebrating Chemists Celebrate Earth Week in April. SMACS and the Nashville local section hosted a booth at the Nashville Earth Day Celebration in Centennial Park where they helped people make alginate gels and spheres, and explore the properties of algae. These activities were part of the Curious Chemistry of Amazing Algae theme that highlighted the emergence of algae as one of the most promising long-term, sustainable sources of food, feed, and other co-products.   • New University and Foundation Sales Tax Exemptions Effective 7/1/2023

    The current University and Foundation sales tax exemption forms will expire on June 30, 2023. Beginning July 1, 2023, please request the new sales tax exemption forms by emailing salestaxform@tntech.edu.  All previous sales tax exemption forms should no longer be used after June 30, 2023. Please remember that any new vendor forms must be completed by the Business Office and should not be modified or altered.

This position advises the Associate Vice President for Communications & Marketing and all directors under Enrollment & Communication on all budget related matters, as well as maintains multiple types of indexes, including expenditure, deficits, revenue accounts and auxiliary accounts, while ensuring proper use of funds and conforming with Tennessee Tech policies, procedures and designated restrictions.     The Eagle Pay Payment Site and Eagle Online Registration will be offline during the following timeframe due to fiscal year-end processing:

     

    Friday, June 30, 2023 from 4:30pm CST until Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 10:00am CST

     

    Students will not be able to make online payments or access registration during this time.  This affects services such as Eagle Online Registration and Eagle Pay Payment Site.
