    Tech’s Crawford Alumni Center offers Albuquerque Balloon Festival trip Oct. 9-14

    Join Tennessee Tech alumni, faculty, staff and friends for a trip to the Albuquerque Balloon Festival Oct. 9-14, 2024. We’ll travel to the Land of Enchantment where we’ll enjoy New Mexico’s beautiful landscapes, history and architecture. We’ll spend three nights in Santa Fe and two nights in Albuquerque. The highlight of this tour is the Albuquerque Balloon Festival.

  • Open Foundry Night!

    Want a distraction from studying for finals? Interested in learning more about the metal casting process? Good news, the Tennessee Tech Chapter of the American Foundry Society is hosting an open foundry night on April 24th starting at 6:00pm. During this time, you will get the chance to see, and even partially participate in, the casting process as experienced personnel walk you through each step of making your own casting. Location: 110 W Tenth St, Cookeville, TN 38501. Disclaimer: Only authorized personnel can pour the metals. Closed-toed leather shoes/boots are required. Pants are required (NO SWEATPANTS OR LEGGINGS).   • Tech Players 24-Hour Play Festival

    Join the Tech Players in participating in or watching our 24 Hour Play Festival! Groups will work to write, memorize, stage, and perform short plays over a 24 hour period. The fun begins this Friday April 19th at 6 p.m. with performances on Saturday April 20th at 8 p.m. All are welcome to watch the show for free! If you are interested in participating with a group of 2-5 members, see the attached form to sign-up and get more information. Make sure your group is registered before our Friday night meeting!     Gold Career Readiness Workshop on April 18!

    Do you still need to attend one more workshop to complete your Gold Career Readiness Application? Join the Center for Career Development on Thursday, April 18, beginning at 11 a.m. in Roaden University Center Tech Pride Room for our final Gold Career Readiness Workshop of the semester!

    This event is open to all students in all majors and counts towards the Gold Career Readiness Certificate for freshman and sophomore students. Bring your Eagle Card with you for attendance credit.

    3rd Annual Light the Night

    Please consider joining Phi Epsilon Kappa on the Quad as we “Light the Night” on Tuesday, April 23 from 7:30-9:00 pm. “Light the Night” is a glow walk intended to raise awareness for organ donation and transplants. We will have free t-shirts, glow sticks, and glow paint for students (while supplies last) as well as a dunk tank and recreational games on the quad as we celebrate and recognize National Donate Life Month.
