    Join the Center for Career Development on Thursday, April 11, beginning at 11 a.m. in the Roaden University Center Tech Pride Room for this Purple Career Readiness Workshop! Scott Christen, Ph.D., Interim Chair and Associate Professor of the Department of Communication will be showing the best ways to effectively communicate your message through a successful presentation.

    This event is open to all students in all majors and counts towards the Purple Career Readiness Certificate for junior and senior students. Bring your Eagle Card for attendance credit.

  • Take Back the Night!

    Join with the campus community to take a stand against sexual assault and domestic violence at Take Back the Night this Thursday, April 11th, at 6 pm in Bell Hall room 282. The event will feature survivor testimonials, followed by a candlelight vigil to raise awareness of sexual violence. We will end the evening with a catered reception honoring survivors. All are invited to participate, and we would love to see many clubs and organizations around campus represented. This event is sponsored by Pi Sigma. Contact owatkins42@tntech.edu for questions.

  • Judges Needed for Student Research & Creative Inquiry Day

    We have well over 200 abstracts submitted for this year’s Student Research and Creative Inquiry Day and need faculty volunteers to evaluate the students’ work.  Judging takes place April 17 from 4:00-6:00 pm in Memorial Gym on the Main Quad.  Students are not required to be present during the evaluation, though they’re most certainly welcomed.  Hors d’oeuvres will be served and you’ll receive a gift of appreciation for your efforts.  Please register here.   Questions?  Please email researchday@tntech.edu

    The Clothesline Project is an event, created to bring awareness to the issue of violence against women, men, and children.
