Join the Center for Career Development on Thursday, September 5th, starting at 11 a.m. in Clement Hall 212 for the first Gold Career Readiness Workshop of the semester! Our knowledgeable staff will be describing the qualities of a strong, foundational resume.

This event is open to all students in all majors and counts towards the Gold Career Readiness Certificate for freshman and sophomore students. Bring your Eagle Card.

Join the Department of Chemistry as we host Emeritus Professor Dale D. Ensor for a seminar on Friday, Sept 6 at 3:00 p.m. in SLH 126. The presentation will detail stories of scientists that correctly interpreted the unexpected experimental results and made life changing discoveries including x-rays, insulin, penicillin, Teflon, and cisplatin. The Center for Counseling and Mental Health Wellness will be hosting a group focused on addressing road blocks and bumps experienced entering college, during college, about to complete college. Adulting can be hard, let’s make it a little less daunting by working together.

Group will meet every Tuesday at 3pm, starting Sept 10th, in RUC room 387. If you have any questions, please stop by our office (RUC 307) or call us at 931-372-3331.

Tennessee Tech ROTC will host a 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at 5:30 a.m. at Tucker Stadium.   Walk without weight or join the cadets and climb with a 35-pound backpack to simulate the firefighters’ gear as they climbed the World Trade Center.  Feel free to bring your own 35-pound backpack.

Join the Center for Career Development in welcoming Packaging Corporation of America on Wednesday, September 4th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Roaden University Center Swoops Food Court (ground floor). Make sure you grab a free coffee while speaking with the recruiters!

Packaging Corporation of America is based out of Lake Forest, IL, and is one of the largest integrated producers of corrugated packing in North America.
