    First Purple Career Readiness Workshop on August 27th – Writing an Employer Read

    Join the Center for Career Development on Tuesday, August 27th, at 11 a.m. in Stonecipher Hall, Room 102 for the first Purple Career Readiness Workshop! Our knowledgeable staff will teach you how to successfully highlight your skills to have an employer-ready resume!

    This event is open to all students in all majors and counts towards the Purple Career Readiness Certificate for junior and senior students. Bring your Eagle Card

    International Overdose Awareness Candlelight Vigil

    Please join the Center for Addiction Prevention and Support as we honor students and community members that have died due to drug overdose. This event will have several community resources to meet and learn from, guest speakers, and several ways to honor lost loved ones. August 29th beginning at 7 p.m. on the Quad.     The first day of classes can be stressful, but only if you let it! Come out to the quad on August 22 from 10:00-12:00 and get yourself a FREE frisbee, as well as some other freebies!   • Relaxation Station Adventure

    Please join the Accessible Education Center and the Center for Counseling and Mental Health Wellness on Friday, August 16 in the Tech Pride Room from 10am-12noon for a Relaxation Station Adventure. There will be diamond painting, puzzle making and adult coloring for all to unwind and relax.     Academic Affairs is excited to host a Welcome Reception for our two new Deans – Dr. Daren Snider, Dean, College of Arts & Sciences and Mrs. Kelly McCallister, Dean, Volpe Library.  Please join us in extending a warm welcome at the upcoming reception on Friday, September 6th 2:00-4:00pm in the Tech Pride Room of the Roaden University Center.  Light hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be served.

    You deserve a scoop of creamy and cold ice cream! Please join the Office of Human Resources for an Employee Appreciation – Ice Cream Social event on Wednesday, August 7th, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Centennial Plaza.

    We will have a variety of ice cream flavors, toppings, and fun mix-ins for you to create your perfect sundae. It’s our small way of saying thank you for your dedication and commitment to TTU. Please bring your TTU Employee ID as your ticket.
