    Attend the last Co-op Meetup of the semester on Wednesday, April 17, in the Roaden University Center, Tech Pride Room at 3 p.m. to learn how to be Co-op Eligible!

    The Co-op Meetup will explain guidelines for enrolling in the Cooperative Education Program, which applies to all students.  You may review the eligibility guidelines at: https://www.tntech.edu/career/students/co-op/eligibility.php

    Any student interested in accepting a Cooperative Education position with an employer MUST attend a Co-op Meetup, prior to accepting an offer.

    You’re invited to attend an informational session with representatives from Chemours on Tuesday, April 16 at 11 a.m. in LSC 1211 to learn about co-op opportunities at their New Johnsonville, TN location for chemistry and chemical engineering students starting in Fall 2024. Representatives include a chemist and two engineers, and they will provide information on the positions that are open and answer questions. Pizza will be provided.     “I am not alone” – A Mad Topics symposium attendee regarding the event on Monday (4/8). Over 100 students, educators, licensed professionals, and community members attended to learn about OCD and ADHD in education (more watched the live stream!). You can watch and/or share the recording using this link. Hear Dr. Simone speak more about the panel and OCD/ADHD on Good Morning Cookeville with Sheila and Jason on 107.7 here. Dr. Culkin’s book, OCD and Marriage, can still be purchased through Dr. Simone ($20 each, or $15 for students), and those who purchase a book will also get a free Mad Topics t-shirt while supplies last (email ksimone@tntech.edu).

    You’re Invited: “Wings Up – Wheels in Motion” on Tuesday, April 16

    The Office of Accessibility, Belonging & Community Outreach invites students, faculty and staff to attend “Wings Up – Wheels in Motion” on Tuesday, April 16 from 10 a.m. to noon in Memorial Gym.

    The event will discuss accessibility challenges and potential solutions as we strive to foster inclusivity and diversity on Tech’s campus. Join us to hear reflections from members of our university community who will spend the morning navigating campus in a wheelchair to better understand the experiences of others on campus. A moderated panel discussion and audience Q&A will follow. Free t-shirts are provided to the first 30 attendees!
