    Campus faculty and staff are welcome to join the Cookeville Chamber of Commerce for the upcoming Signature Luncheon 2024: State of Higher Education on Tuesday, July 30 at 11 a.m. at the Leslie Town Centre. This luncheon will include an informative session that delves into the current state of the region’s higher education systems. President Oldham will be one of the featured speakers.     Tennessee Tech Alumni Association Cupcake Decorating Workshop

    A few seats remain for the Tennessee Tech Alumni Association’s Cupcake Decorating Workshop to be held at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23 at The Cakery in Cookeville. No experience is required. All guests must register in advance. Faculty and staff are welcome to register. The class is $40 per person which includes 6 prebaked cupcakes, frosting, supplies to use while decorating during the event, and instructions by The Cakery’s Laura Bond. Participants will also receive a box to transport their custom creations.

    2025 Golden Eagle Travel opportunities for alumni, faculty, staff and friends

    Tennessee Tech’s Crawford Alumni Center recently released the 2025 Golden Eagle Travel schedule for alumni, faculty, staff and friends!

    From February 24 through March 1, 2025, we’ll visit the Caribbean’s largest island — Cuba! This itinerary includes visits to Havana, Vinales, Pinar del Rio, the Nacional Hotel, La Corona Cigar Factory, Plaza de la Revolucion, Ernest Hemingway’s house, a performance by the Habana Compas Dance Group and more.

    Then, from July 26-August 1, 2025, we’ll spend one night in Boston and five nights on Cape Cod! We’ll visit Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, Provincetown, Plymouth Rock, the Newport Breakers mansion and more.

    Transportation, hotel, event and tickets for Tech versus Georgia game Sept. 7

    Your Golden Eagle football team will take on the Georgia Bulldogs on Sept. 7 in Athens! The Tennessee Tech Alumni Association will host a pre-game gathering for alumni, donors, friends and fans. We offer charter bus travel, hotel, event and game tickets, and you can sign up for the options that work best for you.

    Tech’s Barry Wilmore to host video chat from the International Space Station

    Watch on Tuesday, June 11 at 2:15 PM CT as Tennessee Tech trustee, alumnus and NASA astronaut Barry “Butch” Wilmore participates in a video chat from the International Space Station with children of Tennessee Tech faculty and staff. Portions of this event have been pre-recorded. You can view the event on NASA TV here.

  • Clerical and Staff Day 2024 Vendor Request

    We are so excited to offer the opportunity for you to join us at our 4th annual clerical and support staff day on Friday August 9, 2024!

    The Staff Advisory Committee is hosting our next Staff Day and need vendors! We had a lot of positive feedback on vendors last year and want to have booths again this year where staff in attendance can learn more about the different departments, organizations, and resources on campus. The event will be in Stonecipher Hall and doors will open at 7:30am for set up with registration starting at 8am. Attendees can browse vendor booths until the 8:30 welcome and during breaks.  The event ends at 1pm.
