Join us for our annual Golden Helix 5k race on Saturday, October 12th at 9:00 am. We have been officially SOLO funded, so Tennessee Tech students can run for free this year. We are also needing volunteers for the days before the race as well as the day of the race. If you are interested in running or volunteering, you can scan the QR code on the website. Tech students must bring their student ID card with them to packet pickup. We hope to see you all there this year!

Join the Center for Career Development for this GOLD Career Readiness Workshop on Thursday, September 19th, starting at 11 a.m. in the Tech Pride Room in the Roaden University Center. Join our knowledgeable staff in teaching helpful ways for your first interviews!

This event is open to all students in all majors and counts towards the Gold Career Readiness Certificate for freshman and sophomore students. Bring your Eagle Card for attendance credit.

On Monday, September 23rd from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. you can grab a free coffee and chat with recruiters from the Missile and Space Intelligence Center in the Roaden University Center Swoops Food Court (ground floor).

iMakerSpace Workshop Fall 2024

* Students who successfully complete the training will receive a certificate.

Please join us for a second chance to help us dig up plants for safe keeping in the Biology Department’s Native Plant Garden (between Johnson and Pennebaker Halls, 1100 North Dixie Ave). In exchange, you can take home free plants for your own garden. We will have baked goods, botanical art, and houseplants for sale also! Date: Saturday September 28, from 9 am to 3 pm; rain date October 5th. Please bring your own tools and pots for digging.  If you have any questions, please email skrosnick@tntech.edu. Join the Center for Career Development for the Construction Management Career Fair. This fair will be held on Tuesday, September 17th from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in Gym B in the Academic Wellness Center.

Make sure to visit us in RUC 328 to get your resume reviewed and learn valuable tips and tricks to prepare for the fair.

Students should come dressed to impress and have their Eagle Card to obtain a personalized name tag. This event counts towards Gold and Purple Career Readiness Certification!
