Career Spots are pop-up tabling events held by Career Ambassadors in areas across campus! You can drop-in for a quick chat and gather all kinds of information about Handshake, how to find examples of resumes/cover letters, and upcoming events held like career fairs. Intercultural Affairs and our Ambassadors, the Whitson-Hester School of Nursing, Tennessee Tech‘s Health Services, and the Cookeville Regional Medical Center are all coming together to bring this new event to the campus and community in awareness of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Join us on October 1st during the Heating Up the Quad event to honor and recognize the survivors and those we have lost to this disease. We will have the different organizations and departments with displays and sharing information about prevention and care.

Enjoy the food from the booths at Heating Up the Quad, get some free give away items and t-shirts, and honor those who have impacted.

Join us for a Memorial and Honor Walk that evening at 5 pm at the Quad!

Come join the Center for Counseling and Mental Health Wellness for our first QPR suicide prevention training at 11 AM on 9/26/24 in RUC room 371. Come discuss and learn more about best responses toward individuals that are struggling with suicidal thoughts and/or people who are at risk.

Join the Center for Career Development on Thursday, September 26th, starting at 11 a.m. in the Tech Pride Room in the Roaden University Center for this PURPLE Career Readiness Workshop. This workshop will utilize tips and tricks from our staff on how you will be evaluated on your first job or internship.

This event is open to all students in all majors and counts towards the Gold Career Readiness Certificate for freshman and sophomore students. Bring your Eagle Card for attendance credit.
