The Dine ‘Tah Navajo Dancers will be performing at Derryberry auditorium at 5pm, Tuesday April 18th, hosted by Center Stage. This is a rare opportunity to witness the dances of a Southwestern tribe in Tennessee, as well as storytelling and demonstrations. In addition, at dead-hour (11am) that same day, the troupe’s leader Shawn Price will be at 205 Henderson Hall to give a presentation about Navajo history, particularly tribal treaties.

Earth Week this year will include Plants Rock! on April 19th from 1-3 p.m. on the Quad. This event lets students and staff plant a flower in a reusable planter and/or paint a rock with a kind message on it. These rocks will be disbursed around campus or the artist may keep theirs! The other event is Earth Day Celebration on April 20th from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on the Plaza. This event will host different clubs from Tech and organizations from the community.
