    The Student Events webpage provides an area for all campus departments and student organizations to share their upcoming events that are open to all current TN Tech students. The page will always showcase featured events and student organizations in addition to the event feed being updated daily.

    Please join the TN Tech Counseling Center and the Student Government Association for a board game social on Friday, August 13 from 3:00pm-5:00pm in the RUC backyard area (behind new RUC extension).     Semester Kick-Off with Academy Sports + Outdoors Distribution Center

    Join the Center for Career Development and Academy Sports + Outdoors Distribution Center Wednesday, August 11th, and Thursday, August 12th from 11:00 A.M. to 1 P.M.  for a Move-In Day Semester Kick-Off.

    You can find us at Centennial Plaza, Pinkerton, and Maddux Halls.

    There will be free food, door prizes, giveaways, and a grand prize of a kyack at the end of the event.  Stop by one of their tents to register and check out the various part-time job opportunities at the distribution center.

  • Graduate Training Academy now available in iLearn

    The College of Graduate Studies and the CITL are pleased to announce the Graduate Training Academy for graduate assistants.  This iLearn module will provide all TTU graduate assistants with important information and instruction to ensure their success in the class room.  The first training of its kind, graduate students will access the learning modules through iLearn and will have the semester to complete the program content. Upon completion, students will receive a certificate of completion.  For more information on the Academy, contact Graduate Studies at gradstudies@tntech.edu or 931-372-3233.

  • New Graduate Student Orientation is Online

    The College of Graduate Studies is providing new student orientation online through iLearn.  All new graduate students have the Student Orientation module added to their iLearn account.  New graduate students are encouraged to login to iLearn prior to the start of the semester in order to complete orientation prior to the start of classes.  For more information on Graduate Student Orientation, contact the College of Graduate Studies, 931-372-3232 or gradstudies@tntech.edu.

    One of the representatives from YuJa Media will highlight the features of YuJa, demonstrate how to utilize each feature, and be available for questions. Topics to be covered include an overview of the platform, how to manage media, uploading media, linking to media, video quizzes, and more.

    Bryan Symphony Orchestra – Season Tickets

    Welcome Back TTU Students! Join the Bryan Symphony Orchestra in a back-to-school student ticket sale from August 15th, 2021- September 15th, 2021.     ME Faculty Retirement Celebration

    Please join the Department of Mechanical Engineering at a retirement celebration to honor and thank Dr. Glenn Cunningham and Dr. Dale Wilson for their many years of service and dedication to Tennessee Tech University, as both officially retired on July 31. The reception will be held on Monday, August 16, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. in Brown Hall Room 315.

    Fall 2021 Deadlines and Reminders

    Please review the Tech Master Calendar for additional dates and deadlines.

    Submit educational discount forms to HR by July 19, 2021 to ensure timely processing.
    The first day to register for a course at Tech if you are using a fee waiver is July 22, 2021. (An exception to this date might be necessary in summer if an employee is taking an Intersession course. The rule is 4 weeks prior to the start of the semester.)
    Tennessee Tech fee payment/enrollment confirmation deadline for Fall is August 17, 2021.
    Last day for 100% refund for First and Full Term is August 18, 2021.
    Tennessee Tech Fall Term classes begin August 19, 2021.
    TN eCampus Fall classes begin August 23, 2021.
    TN eCampus last day for 100% refund is August 22, 2021.
