We will constantly look for ways to make the process easier, not harder.
Remember, when you are helping people through a process you are very familiar with, they may not have the experience or information you have. You may use and understand terms they don’t know. Going to college can be stressful, scary and intimidating by nature. Even the most resilient people can get frustrated in the process. Take a look at your work from a student’s point of view and see if there are ways to make it easier, either through simplifying it or explaining it.
