    iLearn: Insights Dashboard

    Join the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning (CITL) on Tuesday, March 21st at 11 AM for Insights Dashboard part 1. Course analytics can help provide insight into the effectiveness of course elements, as well as the level of engagement for students. The analytics provided in iLearn allow instructors to monitor class progress, content statistics, quiz statistics, and more. During this session we will cover how to access the different course analytics for each tool and how to use the information collected to help improve course design and student engagement.     The Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence (CAFÉ) is very excited to host an informational session with Dr. Denita Hadziabdic on March 23 from 11:30 am-12:30 pm. She is a Fulbright Faculty Alumni to Ghana and Fulbright Ambassador since 2022. She is also a 2002 graduate from Tennessee Tech in Horticulture-Agriculture. Dr. Hadziabdic will be providing us with an informational session about the Fulbright Faculty Award program, discuss her experiences, and the application process.     2023 CSB Outstanding Advocate Award
    “Helping Students Soar”
    CSB Outstanding Advocate Award Nomination Form
    Any professional staff member (administration, faculty, and staff) who meets the following
    criteria and is currently or has previously been employed full-time at Tennessee
    Technological University is eligible for nomination. Furthermore, any community advocate
    who has demonstrated outstanding initiatives in the advancements of the Commission on
    the Status of Blacks’ supported communities may qualify for this award. The nominated
    candidate should lead by example and provide outstanding advocacy in the following areas:
    general mentoring, social engagement and academic success to students supported by the
    CSB. Current members of the CSB are ineligible for nomination. A professional staff
    member or community advocate who has received the award shall not be eligible for the
    award again for a period of five (5) years.
    Please submit nominations to Ms. Corinne Johnson at cjohnson@tntech.edu. Nominations
    should list the names of award candidates and include detailed explanations as to how the
    candidates meet the award criteria described above. Nominations must be received by
    March 24, 2023. The award will be given at the annual CSB Scholars’ Awards Luncheon, to
    be held on April 4, 2023.

    Reminder: The Auxiliary Pantry, located in the library, is open during Spring Break and during all breaks.

    You do not have to pre-register, you just show up during any regular library hours and grab the 15 items you may need that week.

    The TN Tech Food Pantry will be closed for Spring Break.  We will reopen on March 20, 2023, regular hours, M-TR 8am – 5pm.  Food Pantry Website

    Anyone needing assistance during Spring Break can visit the First United Methodist Church Food Pantry (MORE INFO HERE) or Helping Hands of Putnam County (MORE INFO HERE).

  • Local Project Requests – FY23 DEADLINE

    Any local project that requires funding to be encumbered for the current fiscal year, the project request form must be received by Capital Projects no later than April 1, 2023. The project request form can be found at https://www.tntech.edu/capital-projects/local/request.php.

    These projects may include, but are not limited to:

      • Finishes renovations and replacements
      • Large furniture purchases
      • Space reconfigurations
      • Access control
      • Coordination with technology upgrades (not solely technology)
    • Any desired modification which alters the built environment
