    Flu season is at its peak.  There’s still time to benefit from the protection vaccination offers this season as flu activity is ongoing.

    J.J. Oakley Campus Health Services has flu vaccine available for $20. Appointments are available Monday through Friday from 8-4:30 and can be scheduled through your Wellness Portal found on Tech Express or by calling 931-372-3320.

    Do you know a student deserving recognition? The Division of Student Affairs is requesting nominations for the Student Affairs Student Spotlight. This project aims to highlight Golden Eagles students who excel both in and outside the classroom. Selected students will be featured in a Tech Times article and a Student Affairs Instagram post.     The College of Education’s Elinor Ross CDF Freedom School is accepting applications for this summer’s internship program (June 5 – July 12) offering a unique and paid opportunity for Tech students of all majors. The FREE six-week program engages local children (grades 1 – 5) and their families in a variety of interactive learning projects and activities, field trips, and more. Participating students’ families qualify for free/reduced lunch programs.

  • Autonomous Robotics Club invited to the 2024 VEX Robotics World Championship!

    The Autonomous Robotics Club VEX U Robotics Team has been invited to the 2024 VEX Robotics World Championship following their Top 5 Ranking on the Global Skills Leaderboard!

    The VEX Robotics World Championship, presented by the Northrop Grumman Foundation, will take place April 25 through May 3 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas. The annual event brings together the top VEX U teams from around the globe to celebrate their accomplishments and participate in the 2023-2024 games to be crowned world champions.

    Spring 2024 Career Readiness applications are now ready and available! If your class touches on professionalism, career related topics, resume or job success in any way, consider utilizing the two career ready programs available. If you are making Career Readiness a part of your syllabi, please let us know by sending an email to rcoughenour@tntech.edu.

    Knowing when faculty are making career readiness part of their curriculum helps career development serve you and your students better.   • Submissions for Non-Instructional Faculty Assignments due Jan. 16

    Proposals from faculty seeking non-instructional faculty assignments for the 2023-2024 academic year are due to department chairs on Jan. 16, 2024.  The purpose of the non-instructional assignments are: to contribute to the professional growth of the faculty; to improve the teaching and the curriculum across the University; and/or to enhance the scholarship and academic excellence of the University in ways that cannot be accomplished under the constraints of the regular workload assignments. Proposals are due to Academic Affairs by January 26, 2024. The recipients will be announced on February 22, 2024.
