    2025 CITL Summer Intensive: Harnessing the Power of AI in Education

    Register now for the CITL’s 2025 Summer Intensive – Harnessing the Power of AI in Education. Participants can join in person on campus in the IDEAL Classroom or via Microsoft Teams.

    This workshop gives educators across the state an opportunity to explore AI in the classroom through interactive sessions, helpful resources, and an informative discussion panel. Topics include prompt generation, AI for assessment and alignment, and AI integration in teaching.

    E-Checkup

    April is Alcohol Awareness Month. 

    Use this month to reflect on your drinking habits and make informed choices. The Center for Addiction Prevention and Support is offering a free and anonymous e-checkup survey for all students, faculty, and staff to assess your substance misuse and obtain personalized feedback. take the free assessment. QR codes for the e-checkup can be found around campus.

    Graduate School and Your HOPE Scholarship

    Any TELS eligible student who graduates with their baccalaureate degree and has not reached the maximum 5-year TELS program completion limit AND immediately enrolls in an eligible advanced degree program (i.e. Masters or Doctoral) the semester after receiving baccalaureate degree, MAY be eligible to receive TELS funds while working on an advanced degree program (i.e. Masters or Doctoral). Contact Financial Aid to find out if you are eligible for this exciting opportunity to receive the HOPE scholarship for your graduate degree.  And remember, if you apply in May, you will not have to pay the admissions application fee of $35.  This is a great savings.

    Brass Arts Quintet Wins Silver Medal

    The Brass Arts Quintet’s most recent recording, “Imaginings: Celebrating 60 Years with the Brass Arts Quintet” has received Silver Medal – Outstanding Achievement recognition from the Global Music Awards as part of their March 2025 award season. This album was recorded in Summer 2023, and was released on Mark Records in Fall 2024. It is available on most major streaming services, and CDs can be purchased directly from the Mark Records website.
