    Join us as we say goodbye and send our best wishes to Dr. Kumar Yelamarthi, Associate Dean of Academic Affairs. We will celebrate his contributions and new journey at a farewell reception on June 18 at 3 PM in the AIEB lobby.

    Dr. Yelamarthi is leaving Tennessee Tech to become the Dean of the College of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Let’s come together to thank him and wish him well in this exciting next chapter!

    Join the CITL for our summer book club as we read through and explore Teaching with AI: A Practical Guide to a New Era of Human Learning by José Antonio Bowen and C. Edward Watson. We will meet virtually every Tuesday at 11 AM starting June 5th to discuss that week’s chapters and share insights. Books are provided. Register here and contact the CITL with questions.     To comply with State Audit directives and Tennessee Tech Policy #130, any audit or review notices or reports received from external agencies should be forwarded to Internal Audit when they are received throughout the year. If you or your department have received any audit or review notices or reports from external agencies during FY25 that have not already been forwarded to Internal Audit, please send them to internalaudit@tntech.edu at this time. As you receive reports in the future, please send them to the same address.

    Please note – this request does not apply to accreditation reports.

    Register now for the CITL’s 2025 Summer Intensive – Harnessing the Power of AI in Education on Monday, May 12th from 8 AM-12:30 PM. Participants can join in person in the IDEAL Classroom or via Microsoft Teams. This workshop gives educators across the state an opportunity to explore AI in the classroom through interactive sessions, helpful resources, and an informative discussion panel.     Rented Textbooks Due May 8th!

    If you rented textbooks from the University Store they are due back May 8th! If you no longer need them for your class/exam you may return them before that date. Remember that books should be returned in reusable condition and NO water/liquid damage. Store hours for finals week:

    Monday – Wednesday 7:30 am to 5:00 pm; Thursday 7:30 am to 6:00 pm; Friday 7:30 am – 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
