This year, Tech chose to focus on raising funds for The Oracle student newspaper to honor nearly 100 years of campus news, free speech and experiential learning. On April 24, 2024, The Oracle will turn 100. Thank you for ensuring that this important campus tradition can continue.
The Center for Student Engagement is sponsoring an angel tree again this year. Please select your ornament(s) from the RUC tree, register at the info desk and return the unwrapped present(s) by Friday, December 8.

The Student Members of the American Chemical Society is extending the Hot Chocolate Reindeer (hot chocolate mix and marshmallows- each reindeer makes approximately three cups of hot chocolate) pre-sale through Nov 27! You can order through our Square Store through Nov 27. We will deliver them to a Tech mailbox (for students) or office (for faculty and staff) on Nov 30 or Dec 1. One reindeer is $2 or you can buy 3 for $5. You will be contacted via email after you order to determine your delivery location. Any questions can be sent to smacsttu@gmail.com. These make cute gifts, so consider ordering for yourself or for someone else. We can deliver your order to other people on campus if you want to send some end of the semester cheer!

On this day of giving, Tennessee Tech will highlight a campus tradition that has promoted free speech, shared campus news, provided experiential learning opportunities and served as a written record of university history for nearly 100 years.
On April 24, The Oracle newspaper will turn 100. And on Nov. 28, we will ensure it has the funding needed to thrive for another 100 years.
If you give $24 tomorrow (to honor 100 years of The Oracle, from 1924 to 2024), you will receive a special 100-year anniversary tumbler featuring the original Tech Oracle masthead!

Delta Gamma will be hosting our annual Fall Philanthropy, Anchor Splash, on Oct 16th – 19th! Our theme this year is Dive in, Do Good, and the week will consist of Penny Drops, Flag Football, A Pageant Competition, Lip Sync Dances, and so much more! All donations go directly to our foundation which supports Tennessee School for the Blind in Nashville! Anyone can participate! This is not only a Greek Life sanctioned event, any organization or independent teams on campus can participate! The Bartoo Botanical Society (BBS) will be hosting a native plant sale on Saturday June 10 from 9-4. The Tennessee Tech Native Plant Garden was invited to be part of the annual Putnam County Clean Commission garden tour. As part of this event, we will be selling native plants, including perennials, shrubs, and seed packets. The Native Plant Garden is located between Pennebaker and Johnson Hall. We hope to see you there! Cash only. All purchases will support the BBS.

The Student Fisheries Association Spring 2023 Fish Fry, scheduled for Thursday, April 27 from 11AM-2PM, is cancelled due to rain.
