    Submit causes for 2025 I Heart Tech Students fundraising campaign

    Each year, Tennessee Tech’s “I Heart Tech Students” fundraising campaign raises money for areas on campus that directly benefit students: scholarships, programs and resources that enrich their college experience. We invite you to submit causes for your college, department or program.

    I Heart Tech Students will run from February 27 through March 27, 2025. (We are shortening it to four weeks this year.)

    All causes must be submitted in full by January 31, 2025. Anything submitted after this date cannot be included. Submit your cause by completing this form: https://forms.office.com/r/DzrpRjhhdX

    Make a gift, get a gift on Giving Tuesday

    Today is Giving Tuesday, an international day of giving where people all over the world support the causes that inspire them. If you planned to make a gift today, we hope you’ll consider Tennessee Tech!

    As a thank you, everyone who makes a gift of $25 or more will receive an ornament featuring the Derryberry Hall clocktower.

    You can designate your gift for any area on campus. If you aren’t sure what area to support, consider making a gift to the department of the major you feel most affiliated with, Tech’s Food Pantry or the University Memorial Scholarship, one of Tech’s most strategic scholarships for recruitment and retention.

    Come out and support the Baja SAE team on Monday, December 2nd at Chipotle on Interstate Drive. A portion of all sales will be donated to the team from 5:00-9:00pm. Be sure to mention the Baja team or show them the attached flyer. Thanks for your support!

    Pre-sale for hot chocolate reindeer extended through Nov 22!

    The Student Members of the American Chemical Society is extending the Hot Chocolate Reindeer (hot chocolate mix and marshmallows- each reindeer makes approximately three cups of hot chocolate) pre-sale through Nov 22! You can order through our Square Store through Nov 22. We will deliver them to a Tech mailbox (for students) or office (for faculty and staff) on Dec 2. One reindeer is $2 or you can buy 3 for $5. You will be contacted via email after you order to determine your delivery location. Any questions can be sent to smacsttu@gmail.com. These make cute gifts, so consider ordering for yourself or for someone else. We can deliver your order to other people on campus if you want to send some end of the semester cheer!

    The Student Members of the American Chemical Society will be selling our new “cation” shirts from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the LSC south atrium (by the helical periodic table sculpture) on Thursday, Nov. 14. Sizes S-XL are $12, 2XL is $13, and 3XL is $14. You can bundle the new shirt with one of our old designs for an additional $5. We can accept, cash, check, card, or Venmo.     AMA Dodgeball Tournament

    The American Marketing Association is hosting a Dodgeball Tournament fundraiser! The cost is only $5 to play, and participants can create their own team to play with. Join us on Tuesday, November 19th, from 6-8 PM. The winning team will receive free drink cards from 7 Brew Drive-thru Coffee!
