On October 14, 2021 Residential Life’s Tech Wars Team will host a gallery-style event for all of campus in order to display TN Tech’s creative visual arts talent. This will be held in the main lobby of the RUC at 11 am (until 12:30pm).

this category will design a logo for the TN Tech Food Pantry. The winning submission may have their logo featured on new aprons for food pantry staff.
***There will also be a “People’s Choice” Award we will facilitate online, after the gallery event.

On Wednesday, October 6, the Tennessee World Affairs Council will host an international jobs and careers panel, from 5:30-7 pm on Zoom. This panel will give you a chance to get career tips and advice from 5 different people working in the international arena.
The panelists include a former Peace Corps volunteer, a diplomat, two people with experience in international development, and a former defense intelligence specialist.

The electric vehicle (EV) Ride & Drive event will come to Cookeville TN on Tennessee Tech University campus on Cookeville Oct 2, 2021. Join us for this interactive in-person ride and drive as part of the National Drive Electric Week. This Ride-And-Drive event will give all participants a chance to test drive an EV first hand. Participants will also gain current information on charging, maintaining, and future use of EV’s. Finally, participants will have the chance to use an EV for two weeks free of charge.

Upcoming ARA Meeting: Addiction and Recovery Awareness on October 5th
The Addiction and Recovery Awareness @ TN Tech (ARA), a student-driven organization partnered with other state and regional agencies, raises awareness of use, abuse, and dependency on addictive substances. Additionally, ARA seeks to educate the community and provide resources and support for those in recovery through a variety of activities and peer support. The ARA Invites you to get involved in planning and promoting activities, educating the campus, and providing support for the TN Tech community. Membership is open to all currently enrolled students, faculty, and staff, and there are no dues.
