Naval Surface Warfare Center (NAVSEA) Information Session – March 6th at 5:00pm
Are you interested in working with Intelligent Automation and/or Hypersonic Weapons Advancement? If so, don’t miss the NAVSEA Information Session prior to the Annual Spring Engineering Fair. Join them on Monday, Mar. 6, in Brown Hall, room 236 from 5 to 7:00 p.m. FREE pizza will be provided!
The NAVSEA Warfare Centers hire scientists and engineers in many disciplines to perform research and development into surface and undersea weapons systems. They are now creating the technology that will underlie naval warfare in the coming decades.
NAVSEA solves difficult problems for the Navy and joint forces. They invent, develop, acquire, and test combat systems and equipment to provide superior technology to defeat current and future threats across many different and complex environments. They continually seek to improve their ships, systems, and related technologies.

Book Club 2: Writing Workshop with Savala Nolan and the Women’s Center

Everyone is welcome, even non-book-club members! But instead of book club this month, we’re meeting with the author of our book(!!!) for lessons about writing our own stories, with some practical strategies to start finding our own voice. The picture at right is Nolan with new incredible tattoos, depicting peony and laurel on her “writing arm.”

Commuter Coffee Event to Launch Off Campus and Commuter Network
Come out and get free Soul Craft Coffee and Meg’s Bread pastries from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. on March 2 outside the Angelo and Jennette Volpe Library and learn more information about the new Off Campus and Commuter Network that the Center for Student Engagement is launching. Off Campus and Commuter Network’s purpose is to help students get involved on and off campus. It is also a place to go for help in receiving campus and community resources. The Off Campus and Commuter Networks desire is for this to become a tool that students can use to help them thrive off campus.
