Resident Artist Exhibition at the Craft Center

A Jazzy Little Christmas Concert – TN Tech Music Faculty

The Tennessee Tech Faculty Jazz Ensemble will perform a jazzy Christmas concert at the Cookeville Performing Arts Center (CPAC) on Wednesday, December 10th at 7pm. The jazz faculty will be joined by Tennessee Tech voice faculty, Dr. Diane Pulte, Dr. Wendy Mullen, and Dr. Chris Reames. In addition, the room will be filled with flickering candlelight, sponsored by Luminance, a candlelight experience.

Free for All Ages at the Craft Center’s Holiday Festival!
Join us for free crafts during Holiday Festival this Saturday! We’ll have craft activities set up across our campus, including a kids’ section full of festive crafts like woven stars, beaded snowflakes, colorful collagraph prints, and a gingerbread village! Other free activities across campus will include clay ornaments, straw star weaving, and punched copper candle votives (15+). Stop by the lobby for a map and a schedule of activities, then drop by and get crafting! No registration necessary for free craft activities. Silk Scarves Workshop at the Craft Center on Saturday!
In this festive workshop, you’ll learn a new take on the traditional Japanese art of Shibori—a resist-dyeing technique that creates beautiful patterns in fabric. Using indigo dye and fiber reactive dyes, each participant will design and dye two colorful and unique scarves, perfect for gifting or keeping as wearable art.
