The electric vehicle (EV) Ride & Drive event will come to Cookeville TN on Tennessee Tech University campus on Cookeville Oct 2, 2021. Join us for this interactive in-person ride and drive as part of the National Drive Electric Week. This Ride-And-Drive event will give all participants a chance to test drive an EV first hand. Participants will also gain current information on charging, maintaining, and future use of EV’s. Finally, participants will have the chance to use an EV for two weeks free of charge.

When: 10 am – 3 pm CT, Saturday, Oct. 02, 2021

Where: Tennessee Tech Campus, 320 University Dr., Cookeville, TN 38501

Who: Anyone interested in learning more about EVs

What: Test drive multiple brands of Electric Vehicles (Tesla, Nissan Leaf, Chevy Bolt, and others). Learn state of the art information about EVs

Upcoming ARA Meeting: Addiction and Recovery Awareness on October 5th

The Addiction and Recovery Awareness @ TN Tech (ARA), a student-driven organization partnered with other state and regional agencies, raises awareness of use, abuse, and dependency on addictive substances. Additionally, ARA seeks to educate the community and provide resources and support for those in recovery through a variety of activities and peer support. The ARA Invites you to get involved in planning and promoting activities, educating the campus, and providing support for the TN Tech community. Membership is open to all currently enrolled students, faculty, and staff, and there are no dues. Careers in Student Affairs (CSAM) is a month-long initiative each October.  CSAM is dedicated to the celebration of a career in Student Affairs, education and awareness in the profession, and engagement with professional associations and peer in the field.

Join the Center for Career Development on Thursday, Sept. 30, beginning at 11 a.m. in the Roaden University Center Multipurpose Room (2nd floor) for this Purple Career Readiness Workshop. A staff member from the Center for Career Development will guide you through the tips and tricks of how to truly became career ready!

This event is open to all students in all majors and counts towards the Purple Career Readiness Certificate for junior and senior students. Bring your Eagle Card for a quick sign-in.
