    Transition to Talon: Cutover Plan and Dates

    As the University prepares to implement the new Talon (Oracle) finance and HR system on January 2nd, 2026, there are a variety of activities that will take place in the coming weeks to transition away from our current systems (e.g., Banner Finance, PeopleAdmin, Eagle Buy, etc.) and cutover to the new system. Our goal is to minimize disruptions to business operations during this transition period.

    New Peer Support Group on Campus

    The Campus Wellness Initiative is hosting peer support groups FREE for Tech students. Group will happen every Wednesday from 4PM to 5PM at Tech’s Health Services Clinic.
    Students will learn how to support their physical and mental well-being by peer-driven discussions and activities. Topics will be driven by the needs and curiosity of students throughout the semester; hosted by a former student!

    The School of Environmental Studies (SOES) seminar series presents Dodd Galbreath from Lipscomb University. His seminar is titled “Our Shared Professional Journey: Relevant Impact.” (Relevant history of water resource protection & stormwater management, with twelve coping tactics for being relevant & impactful).

    The seminar will be held on Monday, October 27th at 3:00 p.m. in Bell Hall 260.
