    Eagle Drive magazine has landed

Tennessee Tech’s Department of Computer Science has released its 2022 edition of Eagle Drive.

The magazine includes stories about the computer science house system, senior capstone projects, a computer science student who is a world-ranking speedcuber (Rubik’s cube), a faculty member who now works at the National Science Foundation, numerous student and faculty research projects, computer science graduates through the decades and “Tech Twosomes” (married couples who are Tennessee Tech computer science graduates). Plus, there’s a challenge: Can you find all the debugging ducks hidden throughout the magazine?

To request a copy of Eagle Drive, email Amy Davis, outreach coordinator, at aldavis@tntech.edu

SciFinder Access Ends December 31, 2022 – Reminder to Transition Your Account

If you are a SciFinder user with a current account, you must transition to the new SciFinder-n interface by the end of December 2022!

SciFinder/SciFinder Scholar/SciFinder Classic will be retired on December 31, 2022. Going forward, you must use the new interface called SciFinder-n. The good news is that your existing login for SciFinder will continue to work in SciFinder-n. However, if you have any saved answer sets or search alerts set up in your SciFinder/SciFinder Scholar/SciFinder Classic account, you must migrate them to SciFinder-n by the end of this month. Please visit the following link for more information on the transition: https://www.tntech.edu/library/scifinder-n.php.

For questions about the retirement of SciFinder or the transition to SciFinder-n, please contact sjadams@tntech.edu or help@cas.org.

  • Thank You for Supporting Tennessee Tech on Giving Tuesday

Thank You for Supporting Tennessee Tech on Giving Tuesday

Thank you to everyone who made a gift to Tennessee Tech in Giving Tuesday! We know you have a lot of choices of where, when and how to share your philanthropy, and we are honored that you chose Tech.

During the holiday season, it’s important to remember those who paved the way for others, and that’s what this year’s Giving Tuesday was all about. On Nov. 29, we honored the professors, administrators, coaches, benefactors and friends of Tech who made this university what it is today. And we thank you for keeping their memories alive and providing support so the next generation of Golden Eagles can experience a university made possible (and wonderful!) by Tennessee Tech legacies.
