    PURPLE Career Readiness Workshop

    Join the Center for Career Development on Thursday, October 24th, starting at 11 a.m. in the Multipurpose room in the Roaden University Center for this PURPLE Career Readiness Workshop. This workshop will utilize tips and tricks from our staff on how you will be evaluated on your first job or internship.

    This event is open to all students in all majors and counts towards the Gold Career Readiness Certificate for freshman and sophomore students. Bring your Eagle Card for attendance credit.

    Tech Football Welcomes Charleston Southern for Faculty & Staff Appreciation Game

    Head to Tucker Stadium on Saturday, October 26 for the Faculty and Staff Appreciation football game versus Charleston Southern! The first 15 faculty and staff members to the game will receive a free game worn jersey!

    Head to the 98.5 KISS FM Tailgate Park 3 hours prior to kickoff for live music and inflatables. The Eagle Walk will begin at 11:15 a.m. followed with performances by your Tech Spirit Squad and Golden Eagle Marching Band! Gates open at 12:30 p.m. with kickoff set at 1:30 p.m.

    Part one of this series identifies the most important strategy for surviving an active shooting. This strategy is not only useful on campus, but in stores, houses of worship, businesses, and more. How would you survive an act of mass violence, or would you? By learning these concepts, not only can you save yourself, but you could also save many others.
