Come watch the movie Les Algues vertes [Green Tide].
This drama is an adaptation of a graphic novel. It tells the true story of a podcast journalist investigating the green tide in Brittany (France) and its possible connection to the death of no less than 3 men and 40 animals. But many are unhappy with her investigation…
The movie will be shown in French with English subtitles, on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 6 p.m., in Henderson Hall 205. Free event. Bring a friend and enjoy some free popcorn!

GOLD Career Readiness Make-Up and Recap
Have you missed out on some of the Center for Career Development’s Workshops? Join us for the LAST GOLD Career Readiness workshop, where we will recap what you might have missed this summer. The workshop is on Tuesday, November 19th, starting at 11 a.m. in the Tech Pride Room in the Roaden University Center.
This event is open to all students in all majors and counts towards the Gold Career Readiness Certificate for freshman and sophomore students. Bring your Eagle Card for attendance credit.

T-shirt Sales- Nov. 14
The Student Members of the American Chemical Society will be selling our new “cation” shirts from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the LSC south atrium (by the helical periodic table sculpture) on Thursday, Nov. 14. Sizes S-XL are $12, 2XL is $13, and 3XL is $14. You can bundle the new shirt with one of our old designs for an additional $5. We can accept, cash, check, card, or Venmo. Student Art Exhibition at Local Business
November 18 – December 1, 2024, the Silver Fern on Spring St. will be exhibiting, Make.Do.3., a group exhibition by TN Tech students in the Bachelor of Fine Arts program in the School of Art, Craft & Design. The artwork will be displayed in the Fiddlehead Room Gallery. The show opens on Friday, November 22nd with a reception open to the public at 5 p.m.
Make.Do.3., showcases student’s work from a variety of craft, including wood, ceramic, glass, metals, and painting. The exhibition showcases the full range of Tennessee Tech students’ talents, from blown glass to fine wood furniture.
