New Catalog Platform
TN Tech has recently launched a new undergraduate and graduate catalog user interface in collaboration with Coursedog, an integrated academic operations platform that also now services our university’s events and course scheduling and curriculum management. You will be able to access the catalog the same as you have in the past using the Academics link in the Express bar of any TN Tech webpage.
While the look and feel of the new catalog is certainly different and more aesthetically pleasing, the content is still the same and will still eventually include all the information that was previously housed in the former catalog system. Program and class requirement information is still being integrated at this time. For complete program and course information, a PDF version of the 2023-2024 undergraduate catalog under the previous catalog system is available to you in the interim by clicking “PDF Versions” in the top right corner of the new catalog.

Stormwater Management Committee annual open meeting to be held September 7th.
Tennessee Tech will hold its annual open meeting of the Stormwater Management Committee on Thursday, September 7th from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM via MS Teams. The committee will discuss stormwater management on the Tech campus, followed with a time for Q & A and discussion.

This sends the message that bullying is not acceptable. There are a lot of myths about bullying that may hurt our children and get in the way of change. Bullying is an epidemic in the U.S., so you should never feel like you’re alone in dealing with it. Please remember that we’re here to support you, as you do everything you can to support your child.

Tech launches new podcast: “College Town Talk”
Tennessee Tech has launched a new podcast in partnership with the Cookeville-Putnam County Visitors Bureau titled “College Town Talk.” Each week, hosts Jonathan Frank and Shan Stout introduce listeners to Tech faculty, staff and students – as well as successful Tech alumni, local business owners and civic leaders – who are making a difference and living Wings Up in their community.
Episodes 1 and 2 are now available, featuring interviews with Cookeville Mayor Laurin Wheaton, Tech Chief Diversity Officer Dr. Rob Owens, Tech Director of Athletics Mark Wilson, and Soul Craft Coffee owner Anna Dunn. Limited Pantry Access – 2 Weeks – Maintenance
Due to unexpected maintenance in the building, the food pantry will not be able to open full time until September 11, 2023.
However, to serve our students, we will provide full service 2 days a week at limited hours, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8am to 2pm as long as we are able to remain in the building. We will provide updates as things unfold. Thanks for your patience during this temporary circumstance.

If it rains, the fair will be moved inside to the Roaden University Center Tech Pride Room (1st floor.) This fair is for anyone seeking a part-time position while attending class this semester. ALL majors and ALL students are invited speak with local employers seeking Tech students for part-time opportunities! Let’s talk Gen Ed on Monday, Aug. 28
The first General Education Vision Committee town hall meeting for faculty, staff and administrators will be held on Monday, Aug. 28, at 9 a.m. in the RUC Tech Pride Room.
This is an opportunity to share your ideas for the future direction and vision of Tech’s general education curriculum. Let us know what skills and knowledge Tennessee Tech graduates should have to best prepare them for their intended careers and their future as informed citizens of the state, region, nation and world. We want to hear from you!
Light refreshments will be provided.
