The English club is hosting the Blind Date With a Book Valentine’s Day event! Bring a beloved book (that you’re willing to give away) and trade it for another mystery book to fall in love with. Not willing to part with any of the books lining your shelves? Feel free to come anyway and share your favorite love poems and stories while snacking on Valentine’s themed treats! All are welcome regardless of major.

Attention all English-loving students: the English club will host its first meeting of the semester on Tuesday, January 30 during dead hour in Henderson 216A. Come and join us for a casual get-together with hot chocolate and games to ward off the winter weather!

AIAA will be hosting Ms. Vanessa Aubuchon from NASA on 1/30 at 11 AM in Brown 236. She will be speaking on the “Third Wave of Aeronautics” and how technology NASA and partners are developing will affect people’s daily lives in the future. Particularly in regard to regional transportation, expedited deliveries via autonomous aerial vehicles, and even public and personal forms of aviation.

The TTU AIAA student chapter will be virtually hosting Ms. Michelle Evans from Mach-25-Media on Thursday 11/16 at 11AM in Brown 237. She is the author of the bestselling book “The X-15 Rocket Plane, Flying the First Wings into Space”. Ms. Evans will be presenting on the remarkable history of the X-15, one-on-one interviews with the pilots including Neil Armstrong, and the innovative engineering that went into the world’s fastest plane.

Come and join the English club on Halloween during DEAD hour in HEND 216A for a viewing of two spooky literature adaptations! Halloween-themed snacks will be provided, and everyone is encouraged to enhance the ambiance by wearing their costumes.

Today (10/23/2023) from 7:00PM to 10:00PM, Rhythm Games Club will be hosting a Shred Off Event located in Bruner Hall – Room 228 for all Rock Band / Guitar Hero enthusiasts, as well as people interested in the club! There will be a space for competitive players consisting of three divisions: Medium, Hard, and Expert! Don’t want to compete? No worries! There will also be a Jam Session area for non-competitors with Drums, Bass, Guitar, and Mic! Pizza and Drinks Provided! For questions, contact lszymansk42@tntech.edu.
