    Six Psychology Students Present their Original Research in San Diego

    Six psychology students traveled with Dr. Nicole Henniger and Dr. Matthew J. Zagumny to the Society for Personality and Social Psychology (SPSP) Annual Convention held in San Diego from February 8-10, 2024. The students presented the results of their studies on healthcare avoidance, perfectionism and academic burnout, adverse childhood experiences, belief in cross-partisan empathy, Opioid Use Disorder treatment attitudes, and climate policy messaging. Join us for the Psychology Club meeting at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 21, in Daniel Hall 209, when the students will share their research and conference experience. Pizza will be provided.     AIAA will be hosting Ms. Vanessa Aubuchon from NASA on 1/30 at 11 AM in Brown 236. She will be speaking on the “Third Wave of Aeronautics” and how technology NASA and partners are developing will affect people’s daily lives in the future. Particularly in regard to regional transportation, expedited deliveries via autonomous aerial vehicles, and even public and personal forms of aviation.

    AIAA Michelle Evans Virtual Guest Speaker

    The TTU AIAA student chapter will be virtually hosting Ms. Michelle Evans from Mach-25-Media on Thursday 11/16 at 11AM in Brown 237. She is the author of the bestselling book “The X-15 Rocket Plane, Flying the First Wings into Space”. Ms. Evans will be presenting on the remarkable history of the X-15, one-on-one interviews with the pilots including Neil Armstrong, and the innovative engineering that went into the world’s fastest plane.
