Meet Sheilla Aneno, our February Student Affairs Student Spotlight!
Sheilla is a PhD student in Exceptional Learning with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis. She serves as a Graduate Assistant and Research Assistant supporting neurodivergent students. A campus leader and President of the African Student Union, she’s a published researcher, MAD Scholar, and founder of the VOLTAA Project.

Recovery Ally Training
The Center for Addiction Prevention & Support encourages you to become a Recovery Ally! This free online course is designed to help participants better understand substance misuse, addiction, recovery, and the vital role allies play in reducing stigma. The course is designed to be completed in one hour, but the learning modules can be completed at your preferred pace. It is open to anyone who wants to support the recovery community. Register here.

Spring 2026 Qualitative Community of Practice
Join the Qualitative Research Community of Practice, an interdisciplinary group exploring qualitative methods. QCoP creates a space for faculty to share ideas, build networks, and strengthen research skills. This spring, faculty will present on autoethnography and a dual‑analysis study. Title VI Training
As mandated by the Tennessee Tech Board of Trustees, all University employees must complete Title VI training. To access the training, locate the red tab for Title VI training on the Campus Resources Card in Tech Express.
The deadline for completing this training is Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
Completion of this training is a component of employee performance evaluations. Failure to complete the training by the April 1st deadline will result in termination of access to Tennessee Tech computer resources.

HR Office Relocation
The Human Resources Office, currently located in the Library, Room 360, will relocate to its permanent location in Derryberry Hall, Room 146, on Wednesday, February 11. During the relocation, the HR office will be closed from 1-4:30 on the 11th.
