    Transition to Talon: Cutover Plan and Dates

    As the University prepares to implement the new Talon (Oracle) finance and HR system on January 2nd, 2026, there are a variety of activities that will take place in the coming weeks to transition away from our current systems (e.g., Banner Finance, PeopleAdmin, Eagle Buy, etc.) and cutover to the new system. Our goal is to minimize disruptions to business operations during this transition period.

    Commission on the Status of Women Presents Dr. Diarese George

    Dr. Diarese George, founder and former CEO of the Tennessee Educators of Color Alliance (TECA), joins us for an evening of discovery and encouragement on Oct. 22. He’ll meet with students at 4:00 p.m. and lead an open event with a reception at 6:00 p.m. He will also meet with interested faculty on Oct. 23 at 11:00 a.m. Dr. George will share ways to get involved with TECA and explore how we can build a culture of responsiveness in education and beyond.
