    Share your thoughts on upcoming improvements to Cookeville’s WestSide

    As the City of Cookeville moves forward with planned improvements to Cookeville’s WestSide, including the redevelopment of the former Wilson Sporting Goods property near the train depot, the city has set aside a specific focus group meeting to hear from Tennessee Tech students, faculty and staff. Please join us on Wednesday, Oct. 8, from 5-7 PM at the Cookeville Gas Department, located at 16 N. Oak Ave, to hear from design teams and city leaders and share your insights. Learn more here.

Domestic violence affects people of all backgrounds and is never acceptable. If you or someone you know needs support, reach out to campus resources or law enforcement.   • Student Affairs Student Spotlight – Charles Jones

    Student Affairs Student Spotlight – Charles Jones

    Meet Charles Jones, our October Student Affairs Student Spotlight!

    Charles is a junior at Tennessee Tech majoring in Finance and Economics. On campus, he serves as President of both the Society for Advancement of Finance and Economics (SAFE) and the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS). He is also a College of Business Student Ambassador and peer mentor. One of his proudest accomplishments is securing an internship with the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, where he contributes to the Survey Center’s economic research. He also founded Jadestox, a fintech startup that has grown to more than 6,000 users, providing students with tools to invest more effectively.
