Join our trauma recovery group to learn about the different ways trauma can affect us, develop techniques that may help in times of distress, as well as being a positive support for others who also struggle with the same experiences.     AIChE Chipotle Fundraiser this Wednesday, February 7th!

    Tennessee Tech AIChE is hosting a fundraiser night at the Interstate Drive Chipotle on Wednesday, February 7th from 5 – 9 p.m. A portion of the night’s proceeds will be donated to the chapter to cover costs for our attendance AIChE Southern Regional Student Conference in Auburn University.     Sell your idea in 90 seconds at the Eagle Works Elevator Pitch workshop 2/7

    Learn how to tell your story in 90 seconds or less at this workshop on Wednesday, Feb. 7 at 5 p.m in the iMakerspace. This will help you get ready for the Eagle Works Idea Challenge on 2/15 – your chance to win $1000 scholarship.

    We’ll follow this session up with a chance to practice your pitch on Monday, Feb. 12 at 5 p.m., also in the iMakerspace.

    The iMakerspace is on the third floor of Volpe Library. Use the north staircase (past the MyTECH helpdesk) to access. If you need an accessible entrance, please email Andrea at akruszka@tntech.edu before 4:30 p.m. that day to arrange.

    Purple Career Readiness Workshop on February 6!

    Join the Center for Career Development on Tuesday, February 6, beginning at 11 a.m. in Roaden University Center Tech Pride Room (1st floor) for a Purple Career Readiness Workshop! Employers from Enterprise Mobility, Flex-Tek, and Wilson Sporting Goods will share their tips and advice on how to impress a potential company after graduating college.

    This event is open to all students in all majors and counts towards the Purple Career Readiness Certificate for junior and senior students. Bring your Eagle Card with you to receive credit for attendance.
