Join the Center for Counseling and Mental Health Wellness at our seasonal depression workshop on Thursday, November 14th at 11:00am in the RUC room 387. We’ll talk about how the seasons changing impacts our mental health, coping skills, and engage in light therapy. All students are welcome!

    Join the Center for Career Development in welcoming TN Department of Environment and Conservation – Tennessee State Parks on Wednesday, November 13th for Careers n’ Coffee. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the ground floor of Roaden University Center Food Court, grab a free coffee and a chance to talk with recruiters.

    As stewards of the resources in our parks, they seek to manage Tennessee’s 56 state parks to preserve and protect valued resources and to provide services and benefits for the enjoyment of the people. Check out Handshake for more information!

    Tennessee Tech College of Business is excited to announce its 2nd annual SuitsGiving drive-thru donation event. The donations are being collected for the College of Business’s Business Professional Closet (BPC). The BPC is a free resource for all Tech students to have access to professional clothing. SuitsGiving will be held in the front entrance of Foundation Hall on November 15th, 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. We are searching for new or gently used items in all sizes, but especially XS and XXL: suits, sports coats, khaki pants, button-up shirts, ties, belts, shoes, dresses, blouses, pant suits, blazers, dress pants/chinos, and jewelry.     The Co-op Meetup will explain the eligibility guidelines for enrolling in the Cooperative Education Program, which applies to all students.

    Please note, any student interested in accepting a Cooperative Education position with an employer MUST attend a Co-op Meetup, prior to accepting an offer.

    Narcan Training Event!

    Join the Center for Addiction Prevention and Support on November 6th at 6PM for Narcan training and crafting! We will be hosting Suzanne Angel, Region 3 ROPS coordinator, as she provides valuable information about Narcan. We will also be providing a craft opportunity afterwards and other prevention materials like lock boxes, drink covers, and drink test strips! This event will be located at 10 W. Broad Street Cookeville, TN and will be located on the 3rd floor, please use side entrance of building (look for our Tennessee Tech logo). We hope to see everyone come out and learn more about prevention!
