    Career Spots are pop-up tabling events held by Career Ambassadors in areas across campus! You can drop-in for a quick chat and gather all kinds of information about Handshake, how to find examples of resumes/cover letters, and upcoming events held like career fairs. With Career Spots, there isn’t a need for an appointment but bring your Eagle Card for attendance credit. Check Handshake to see all the upcoming dates!

    Guest Speaker Dr. Amrita Chakrabarti Myers

    Dr. Chakrabarti Myers will speak on campus about the Black female experience in the US on Friday, October 25th at 7 p.m. in Stonecipher 113. There will be a book signing and reception following in Stonecipher 260.

    She is a researcher, writer, educator, and community-based organizer. No matter what hat she’s wearing, though, she’s interested in truth, justice, equity, and restoration. Whether it’s in the classroom, the community, between two covers, with city governments, or at corporate tables, her vision is to help dismantle the unjust systems holding us all back.

    The Office of Communications and Marketing will be hosting the annual Contracted Vendors Promo Show on campus on Wednesday, Oct. 30, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the Tech Pride Room of the Roaden University Center. This is a great opportunity to see the latest promo items and network with the vendors. There is no cost to attend, and lunch is provided beginning at 11 a.m. Vendors will have free product samples for everyone, and you are encouraged to bring your business cards to share and make connections.     Employee Appreciation Event on October 26th!

    Get ready for a day of fun as we celebrate all the people who make Tennessee Tech an awesome place to be! All employees are encouraged to attend the Employee Appreciation Day event and football game on Saturday, October 26th.

    It’s not too late to get your complimentary tickets. Bring your immediate family! Simply present your Eagle Card/ID Card at the Athletics Ticket Office in the Hooper Eblen Center today (between 8a – 4:30p) or pick up tickets on game day at the Tucker Stadium ticket booth an hour before game time!

    Join us for food and fun beginning at 10:30 am in the Tailgate Park, West Stadium Parking Lot.  Kickoff is at 1:30 pm. We hope to see you there!
