    Are you interested in Co-op? Need to find out how YOU can be Co-op eligible? Attend this Co-op Meetup on Tuesday, Sept. 14, in Clement Hall 212 at 11 a.m. Any student interested in accepting a Cooperative Education position with an employer MUST attend a Co-op Meetup.

    The Co-op Meetup will explain the eligibility guidelines for enrolling in the Cooperative Education Program, which went into effect July 1, 2019 for all students.  Pre-registration to enroll in the Co-op Program is now required and attending a Co-op Meetup is your first step!  The new eligibility guidelines can be found at: https://www.tntech.edu/career/students/coop-eligibility.php.

    Fall 2021 Friday Cafe

    Friday Café is the hands-on learning experience for foods and nutrition students in Human Ecology. Friday Café will serve six meals for fall semester. Dates will be Sept 17, Sept 24, Oct 1, Oct 8, Oct 22 and Oct 29. Menus are posted on Marketplace and on the Human Ecology Friday Café webpage. This fall semester students will utilize vegetables grown at Shipley Farm. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, meals will be a carryout option only. If COVID restrictions change and we are able to move meals to the dining room, an update will be provided.  There will be three time pick-up options each week (11:45 am, 12:00 pm, and 12:15 pm) with a limit of 12 meals for each time slot. Meals will be available for pickup inside the front door of Oakley Hall. Meal purchase is made through Marketplace by making prepayment by noon on Wednesday. Meal cost will be $8.50. We are unable to process refunds at this time. A portion of the increase will be used to provide free Friday Café meals to students who utilize the Food Pantry this semester. Contact the Human Ecology office at 372-3157 with any questions.

    Calling All Ladies in Civil Engineering! Back-to-School Breakfast Night

    All Ladies in Civil Engineering (ALICE) will be hosting a Back-to-School Breakfast Night on Tuesday, Sept. 21, at 6:00 pm in PRSC 215. All ladies who are majoring in Civil Engineering or who would like to major in Civil Engineering are welcome to attend. There will be free coffee and bagels from Einstein Bros Bagels. Stop by to learn about this new group and have a fun time with fellow civil engineering majors!

The conversation will also serve as an opportunity to engage with faculty on how they can partner with each Center to improve inclusive teaching efforts and promote student success.

    Tech Men’s Soccer Club Takes on Vanderbilt at Home

    Come support the Tennessee Tech Men’s Soccer Club as they take on Vanderbilt at home this Sunday (08/12)! Kickoff is scheduled for 5:30PM at the Putnam County Sports Complex (497 Whiteaker Springs Rd, Cookeville)!

    TTUMSC is undefeated so far after picking up wins against Murray State and WKU and look to continue building on their win streak against Vanderbilt University in their biggest test of the year.
