    iMakerSpace Open House + Pancakes

    Come visit the iMakerSpace in Volpe Library 348 from 11am to 12pm on November 18th to enjoy some pancakes and see some of the cool things the iMakerSpace has to offer! You will be able to design and “print” your own pancakes via the PancakeBots in the space! In addition to 3D printing pancakes, we will have open demonstrations of 3D scanning objects for 3D printing and laser cutting keychains with our GlowForge Pro.

    Monday, Nov. 15, is the FINAL DAY to submit your Career Readiness Application for the Fall 2021 semester. All materials for Gold and Purple Career Readiness Applications must be turned in-person to the Center for Career Development (RUC 328), via email to career@tntech.edu, or online at https://www.tntech.edu/career/students/career-ready.php by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 15.  

    Substitutions or late submissions will not be accepted.

    The Career Readiness Certification program is hosted by the Center for Career Development.

    Tennessee Tech Homecoming Week 2021

    Welcome to the 2021 Tennessee Tech Homecoming Week! Many great events will take place for both students and the campus community celebrating the theme of “Tech Back In Time: Homecoming Through The Decades”. Monday, November 8th brings the homecoming banners back to the RUC lobby. The banners will be displayed throughout the week. Tuesday, November 9th at 6:00 p.m. in Derryberry Hall Auditorium will be the student organization skit night with entertaining performances focused on their individual themes. Wednesday, November 10th will be the opportunity to give back to the students with the Tennessee Tech Food Pantry Crowdfunding Drive. To donate please visit www.tntech.edu/homecoming. Thursday, November 11th join us as we welcome Mixtape 80s Tribute Band to Derryberry Hall Auditorium at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, November 13th presents the homecoming parade on Dixie Avenue with a step off time of 10:30 a.m. and the homecoming football game at Tucker Stadium at 1:30 p.m. Come cheer on the Golden Eagles!

    Purple Career Readiness Workshop on Nov. 4: Use Career Readiness

    Join the Center for Career Development on Thursday, Nov. 4, beginning at 11 a.m. in the Roaden University Center Multipurpose Room (2nd floor) for this Purple Career Readiness Workshop! Are you wondering what being Career Ready means? Be sure to attend this workshop where a staff member from the Center for Career Development will help you learn how to market yourself as a Career Ready Graduate to employers.

     

    This event is open to all students in all majors and counts towards the Purple Career Readiness Certificate for junior and senior students. Bring your Eagle Card for a quick sign-in.

     

    To attend virtually, access the TEAMS link in Handshake Events. To receive credit for attending, you must log in with your Tennessee Tech email, participate if asked to during the workshop and be present for at least 80% of the presentation, and make sure that your camera is turned on during your attendance.
