Welcome Back Part-Time Job Fair is August 23 – Join us on Centennial Plaza!
Join the Center for Career Development on Tuesday, August 23, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Centennial Plaza for our first job fair of the semester! This fair is for anyone seeking a part-time position, while attending class this semester. ALL majors and ALL students are invited speak with local employers seeking Tech students for part-time opportunities! All majors are invited to attend this event!

Multicultural Affairs Welcome Back
The Office of Multicultural Affairs annual Welcome Back is Tuesday, August 16th, 2022 at 11:am – 1:30pm in the Tech pride Room (101) in the Roaden University Center. Some student groups will also be on Centennial Plaza (North-West side weather permitting) to greet you. Volunteer for Week of Welcome Events
Week of Welcome and the start of the fall semester are right around the corner. Want to help make sure students have a fun and wonderful first week? Volunteer to help during several Week of Welcome events. The Student Engagement team is looking for employees to assist during three events: Live Team Trivia on Friday night, August 11, Club Golden Eagle on Sunday night, August 14, and Mix & Mingle on Tuesday evening, August 16. Please consider registering for a shift! Working the events will be a great way to welcome new students and welcome back returners, and an excellent opportunity to get to know other Tech colleagues.
Do you know of a department or student organization that would like to volunteer to help residents during the Great Move-in Days? Group leaders can register their organization for a shift or two August 11-14.

Final Presentations for REU: Secure & Privacy-Preserving Cyber-Physical Systems
The Center for Manufacturing Research is excited to announce the final presentations of the Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) students. This REU site is funded by NSF and is titled “Secure and Privacy-Preserving Cyber-Physical Systems Software and Hardware Approaches”. Ten students who have been conducting collaborative research with TN Tech faculty and students will be presenting the culmination of their summer work. This event is Friday, July 29 from 9:30 – 12:00. Southeastern STEM Education Research Conference 2023 – Call for Proposals
Submit a proposal for the 17th Annual Southeastern STEM Education Research Conference.
The conference will take place on Friday and Saturday, January 13 and 14, 2023 on Tennessee Tech’s campus.
This event brings together great minds to engage in conversations about empirical studies in STEM education and their applications to practice in K–20 learning environments. Those who wish to contribute to the conference may submit a proposal at https://mtsuorsp.awardsplatform.com

Women in Higher Education Drive-in Workshop Invitation
Join us for the upcoming Women in Higher Education Tennessee (WHET) workshop that will take place on TTU’s campus on Friday, August 12. TTU is honored to host the event in the new Sciences Building. This gives us a chance to showcase our campus to other women across the state. The program begins at 10:00 and concludes at 2:00. The ‘timely’ theme of the event is “Leading Out of a Crisis” with keynote speaker Dr. Lori Bruce. Additional speakers include Susan Wells J.D., and Cigi England. There is no registration fee to attend and a catered lunch is provided. This workshop is open to the entire campus community including faculty, staff, administrators and students.
