    Save the date! Wings Up Weekend, a celebration of all things purple and gold, will be April 8-10 this year, and there’s something for everyone! There will be softball games, a football scrimmage, Backdoor Playhouse productions, Legacy Gala, Window on the World, a CEE golf outing and more! And you don’t want to miss the Crawford Alumni Center’s NASA Celebration Event on April 9 at 12:30 p.m. in Stonecipher Lecture Hall.

    Come and practice your French at Beginners’ Conversation Hour on Thursday, February 24 from 11-11:45 in Oakley 214. Organized and run by students, French Conversation Hour is open to all speakers of French, regardless of level, and uses games and activities to help everyone get involved. The atmosphere is fun, laid-back, and designed to help you feel as comfortable as possible speaking French.

Be sure to attend this event as the Center for Career Development will teach you how to answer tough interview questions at this workshop!

    Tyler Asher from the Small Business Development Center will be joining us to give a brief overview on business plans and financials, and answer your questions! We’ll also give a quick refresh on due dates and rules of the competition.

    Yes or no? Lessons of a campaign scheduler

    February 22nd @ 11 AM in the Johnson Hall Auditorium

    Join the College of Business for the spring semester’s Tech Talk series! This program features faculty/staff that have extraordinary stories or experiences to share…or maybe a unique hobby or interest. We will feature a different guest speaker each session, giving each 17 mins to present and allowing time for discussion, questions, etc.

    Real connections with the TN Tech family of faculty and staff are becoming increasingly important in student persistence efforts. As you explore and engage in transformational experiences on campus, why not come see a side of us that is both engaging and potentially transformational.

    Debate Showcase on Feb. 22nd!

    We will be hosting the first TTU Speech & Debate Showcase on February 22nd at 5pm in the RUC Tech Pride Room. The topic we will be debating is “Should NCAA D1 athletes be paid?” Come watch some of our award-winning debaters as they provide a show of logic and entertainment. This is meant for all students and does not require you to be interested in joining the team. There will be free dinner provided, but feel free to bring your own food and watch the show!
