    ALICE Potluck Picnic & Outdoor Day at Cane Creek Park!

    All Ladies in Civil Engineering (ALICE) will host a potluck picnic at Cane Creek Park on Saturday April 23 from 11 am to 1 pm. We will meet at the parking lot near the volleyball court. Come join us as we play volleyball and destress outdoors before finals! If you can, please bring a dish to share for our potluck picnic.     All Ladies in Civil Engineering (ALICE) will host our final meeting of the semester on Thursday, April 7, 2022, from 11-11:45am in Prescott 330! This is a chance to run for an officer position for the 2022-2023 school year! We will also be discussing our upcoming April Outdoor Day at Cane Creek Park. The start time for the movie is 8pm, so please arrive early to get a spot to sit, grab snacks, and take cute Polaroid pictures with your friends!     NASA Celebration Event on campus this Saturday

    Tennessee Tech’s Crawford Alumni Center will host a NASA Celebration Event this Saturday, April 9, at 12:30 p.m. in the Stonecipher Lecture Hall. Join us to hear the stories of Tennessee Tech alumni and faculty who worked for NASA. Our keynote speaker will be Dr. June Scobee Rodgers, and we’ll share a special video from one of our most famous NASA alumni…Barry Wilmore!     Results of University Advancement’s Ralph’s versus Big O’s taste test

    Thank you to everyone who joined us for the I Heart Tech Students faculty and staff appreciation event! And thank you for participating in our Ralph’s vs Big O’s blind taste test. The purple toothpicks were the donuts from Big O’s and the red toothpicks were the donuts from Ralph’s. The results are in and the winner was…Big O’s! Regardless of your favorite, we thank the Golden Eagle community for supporting local businesses, and we thank you for your gift to the I Heart Tech Students initiative. The $173,262 raised is already being put to good use in support of Tennessee Tech students.

    The History Department will be holding its annual Winchester Lecture on Tuesday, April 12th at 6:00 p.m. in Derryberry Hall auditorium. Louis Woods will present “Structural Barriers to Fair Housing: Nashville’s Segregated Housing Market, 1910-1950.” The event is free and open to the public.     Graduate Student Appreciation Week – Build Your Own Trail Mix

    The College of Graduate Studies invites all graduate students to participate in Graduate Student Appreciation Week. Festivities begin on Monday, April 4th, and conclude on Thursday, April 7.  To kick off our week of appreciation, on Monday we will have a Build Your Own Trail Mix bar. The event will be held from 10:30AM-12:30Pm on the second floor of Derryberry Hall by the auditorium doors. This event is completely free for graduate students.

    On Tuesday, April 5th, come and join us for carnival fun!   We will have fresh popcorn, cotton candy, and shaved ice snow cones. This event will also be held in Derryberry Hall on the second floor by the auditorium from 1:30 – 3:30 PM.

  • Tech ASPIRES will be tabling at The Clothesline Project

    On Tuesday April 5th, ASPIRES will be with the Tech Womens Center staff at The Clothesline Project in the RUC Pride Room from 10am-2pm and 4pm-7pm. Stop by our table and learn about the services that ASPIRES offers to survivors of sexual assault in the Tech community. This is an annual event designed to raise awareness for survivors of sexual assault and abuse. Witness and applaud these visual testimonies created by survivors of interpersonal violence from our campus and the local community while learning more about campus resources. Hope and healing hang on the Clothesline!
