  • Blessing Offor and The 502’s at Fall Fun Fest

Blessing Offor and The 502’s at Fall Fun Fest

Don’t miss two incredible musical acts at Fall Fun Fest during another great College Town Weekend. Presented by Tennessee Tech, Blessing Offor and The 502’s will perform on the Main Stage on Friday, September 9 on the Courthouse Square.

The Nigerian-born singer/songwriter Blessing Offor (6pm) immigrated to the United States with his uncle at the age of six. Hints of pop, Motown, and soul flourish across Blessing’s music as he sings of optimism, hope, and finding silver linings in dark clouds. Blessing was a huge hit at Eagle Fest in April, so don’t miss his return to Cookeville!

The 502’s (8pm) are a veritable Folk orchestra, comprising a colorful menagerie of instruments from strings and xylophones to brass, melodicas, whistles and bells, all wrapped in neighborhood-block-party-sized singalongs with vaulted vocal harmonies worthy of any great concert hall.
