  • Notice to submit gift-in-kind forms

    To comply with Foundation Policy #005, any staff member who accepts tangible property must submit a gift-in-kind form documenting the donation. If your department has accepted any items by a donor, alum, or business this calendar year, please submit a gift-in-kind form no later than Thursday, December 18th. Gift-in-kind guidelines can be found here. Contact Elizabeth Williams at 372-6101 or ewilliams@tntech.edu with questions or to request a gift-in-kind form.

    • Any new requests for services contracts must be at Final Review by 11/19.  Please note that one or more approvals are required prior to Final Review
    • New Adjuncts and New Administrative Adjuncts PAFs due to Academic Affairs for the spring semester

    November 21

    • Last day for any new awards or modifications to be sent to the Grant Accounting team

    Please observe the following deadlines during the upcoming holiday season.

    November Deadlines

    • The deadline for receipt of any payroll changes normally due by the 15th is 4:30 P.M. on Wednesday, November 12th
    • November Student/Temp payroll is on Wednesday, November 12th
    • November monthly payroll is on Tuesday, November 25th

    Please look for additional information related to Talon, including cutover reminders and campus-wide training that will begin in November.

  • Budget Office Training – November 2025

    November budget training dates are now scheduled for anyone who is interested in attending. Please click here to register for a virtual session.

  • Flower & Gift Fund 2025

    All University Faculty, Administrative Staff, and Clerical & Support Staff, as defined by the personnel policies of the University, are members of the University Faculty and Staff Flower and Gift Fund, having accepted group participation in the fund. Each member of Faculty and Staff has the opportunity to contribute to the fund. The $15 contribution is deducted annually from the October payroll check. If you have signed up in the past, there is no reason to re-enroll. If you are new and have not signed up, you can find the Flower Fund DocuSign on the Payroll website under Payroll Forms. If you have any questions, please call Jennifer Roberts at 931-372-3712, jaroberts@tntech.edu.

    NOTE: Administrative Officers, Academic Deans, Faculty Members, and Departmental Chairpersons are responsible for reporting illnesses, deaths, weddings, and “new arrivals” to the President’s Office.

    The Honors Program welcomes new Assistant Director, Linda M. White!  Linda brings extensive experience in student organization leadership, peer mentorship, and scholarship service management.  She holds a graduate degree in Creative Writing—a background that equips her with a collective, community-building approach.  In her new role, she looks forward to collaborating with Tech students and employees as well as campus partners to enrich undergraduate experiences.
