    The Honors Program welcomes new Assistant Director, Linda M. White!  Linda brings extensive experience in student organization leadership, peer mentorship, and scholarship service management.  She holds a graduate degree in Creative Writing—a background that equips her with a collective, community-building approach.  In her new role, she looks forward to collaborating with Tech students and employees as well as campus partners to enrich undergraduate experiences.

  • New Chief Information Officer

    We are excited to announce that Ms. Jennifer Chavez has joined Tennessee Tech as our new Chief Information Officer (CIO). Ms. Chavez has 27 years of experience in Information Technology in higher education working with the University of Wyoming. She received her B.S. in Marketing and her M.A. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Wyoming.

    Academic units should submit budget revisions needed for Revised Budget to the Provost’s Office by Friday, September 19th, and all non-academic units that submit their budget revisions to the President’s Office should have those submitted by Friday, September 19th as well.

    Registrars Office Open Extended Hours

    To help ensure all students are ready for the start of classes, the Office of the Registrar will offer extended hours on Monday, August 18th – Wednesday, August 20th. The office will be open each day until 5:30pm. We wish everyone a wonderful start to the Fall 2025 semester!

  • Reception for Amber Green

    Please join University Advancement on Monday, August 18, at 3:00 p.m. in the Varsity Building to celebrate Amber Green and her many accomplishments as Director of Development since July 2020. She has accepted a major gift fundraising position at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital in Knoxville, and her last day will be the 18th. Most recently, Amber worked with the College of Education and Human Sciences, the College of Fine Arts, and the College of Arts and Sciences. Light refreshments will be served.
