The survey – which opens today and closes on Friday, March 8 – will take less than 10 minutes to complete, and the results will inform the discussion about what general education will look like for future students.

The purpose of these non-instructional assignments is multifaceted. They aim to contribute to the professional growth of faculty, improve teaching and curriculum across the University, and/or enhance the scholarship and academic excellence of the University in ways that cannot be achieved within the constraints of regular workload assignments.

Does your research require an Annotated Bibliography? Have you never written one, or perhaps you need some pointers on how to make yours pop? WEST, the Writing Excellence Studio at Tech, is here to help! On Thursday, 2/15, we will be leading a dead hour workshop on writing annotated bibliographies. We can talk about the genre and discuss specific concerns you might have. The workshop will be in Henderson Hall 216A, from 11:00-11:50. No registration is required, and all are welcome.  If you can’t make the workshop, come for a one-on-one session with one of our consultants. For availability and scheduling, check out our website. Is this the semester when you stop letting your first draft be your final draft? Does your instructor keep telling you to revise your work, and you’re just not sure what they want?
