College of Education Joins the Lead in Literacy Network

Tech has accepted an invitation to participate as one of four Educator Preparation Programs in the Lead in Literacy Network.

The group is convened by the State Collaborative on Reforming Education (SCORE), a non-partisan, non-profit organization with a mission to bring about transformative change in the Tennessee education system.

“The College of Education has historically championed literacy and reading comprehension skills in all academic disciplines in our educator preparation programs,” said Lisa Zagumny, Dean. “Our dedicated faculty excel in creating meaningful and research-based experiences for emerging educators.”
