Faculty members Dr. Jennifer Mabry, PhD, APRN, FNP-BC, and Dr. Emily Lee, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, of Tennessee Tech University’s Whitson Hester School of Nursing, were recognized with the Partner and Leadership (PAL) Award at the Tennessee Public Health Association (TPHA) annual membership meeting on September 18, 2025. The PAL Award is presented to non-public health professionals, groups, or organizations whose extraordinary contributions advance public health and establish a model for others. This recognition was conferred for the development and expansion of the Collaboration for Healthcare Access in Rural Tennessee (CHART) Project, an academic-practice partnership designed to address inequities in healthcare access among medically underserved populations.

Hispanic Heritage Event with SHPE
Join the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) on Wednesday, September 24 in the AIEB Atrium from 6 to 8pm for a vibrant Hispanic Heritage Month celebration! Relaxation Hours
The Center for Counseling and Mental Health Wellness are inviting you to stop by our Relaxation Hours Workshop! We want to provide you all a space to unwind and relax in between classes, no obligation or lecture involved – just a quiet, safe space to chill out! We have red light therapy, a massage chair, a sand tray, and more! We will be offering our relaxation space every Thursday this semester, starting at 11:00am.
