Tonja Torgerson & Christa Carleton Discuss Body Politic

The Joan Derryberry Art Gallery presents Body Politic, a collaborative print series by Tonja Torgerson and Christa Carleton. Together they challenge the conventional views that beleaguer gender roles through the figurative nude. “With our collaborative project Body Politic, we contribute our perspectives to a vast commentary set forth by our predecessors in intersectional feminism, and raise our voices in support of inclusive change.” Meet the artists on Thursday, March 23 at 4:30 p.m. in the Roaden University Center 124 for a gallery talk and reception. This event is funded by Center Stage. For more information, contact hdarms@tntech.edu.
