    The Tennessee Tech Faculty Jazz Ensemble will perform a jazzy Christmas concert at the Cookeville Performing Arts Center (CPAC) on Wednesday, December 10th at 7pm. The jazz faculty will be joined by Tennessee Tech voice faculty, Dr. Diane Pulte, Dr. Wendy Mullen, and Dr. Chris Reames. In addition, the room will be filled with flickering candlelight, sponsored by Luminance, a candlelight experience.

    Fall 2025 Campus-wide Solar System Tour

    Need a break from studying for finals?  The Introduction to Modern Astronomy I (ASTR 1010) class has created a to-scale model of our solar system that fits on campus!  The sun is located in BRUN 243.  From there, walk around campus and locate solar system objects (8 planets, 6 moons, 2 dwarf planets, a comet, and 2 asteroid belts) using the attached map.  There’s some information about extra-solar system objects of interest near BRUN 243.  Objects will be removed by Dec 11.

    Join UCSC for our annual candlelight worship on December 4th at 9 PM. It will be a traditional night of worship with advent candles. The service will be held at Collegeside Church of Christ in our small auditorium. Feel free to meet at UCSC a little before and we can all walk over together!!

    Fall 2025 Important End of Semester Information

    As we wrap up the end of another wonderful semester and prepare for holiday festivities, please keep the following in mind:

    The last day of Fall 2025 classes is Friday, December 5th.

    The Registrar’s Office will be closed for processing end of term grades the week of December 15 – 19. 

    All grades are due on Monday, December 15 at 10:00 am. Grades, GPA, and academic standing will be finalized approximately Friday, December 19th. You will receive another notice as soon as those items are final!

    Transcript processing and enrollment verifications will pause the week of December 15-19 until all grades, GPA, and academic standing are finalized.

    Degrees will be awarded the week after December 15-19.

    December 7 – Last day to update 401K, 457, & 403b contributions to be reflected on December payroll

    December 8 – Budget revision cutoff for Banner Finance.  Adjustments after this date must be made on TALONBUD starting January 2nd. Returning Adjuncts, Administrative Adjuncts, and Overload Pay Spreadsheets due to Academic Affairs

    December 11 – Last day for suppliers to send AP invoices to TTU until January. Any invoices received after this date may delay payment processing
